Joie settled in Fortuna Foothills of Yuma in 2021. She is excited to share her “Visual Arts” with her new Community.
Joie’s passion for photography jump started her art career in 2007. She turned from novice to professional early on her path as a photographer; with projects in product material, business catalogues photos, professional portraits, family photo shoots, celebration events and real estate property sales material. She also found much joy in the creative side of photography by capturing the essence of people, places and things. She has won many accolades and awards for her work.
After years of embracing her photography, Joie began to dabble in the painting world. After trying various styles, she found she loved intuitive acrylic and mixed media abstracts the best; and added it her artistry line in 2019. Now she has also incorporated another abstract art form, Fluid Art Pour Painting in the summer of 2022. She finds these new art forms very meditative; can tune out her surrounding, in the design creation for hours on end.
