I love bold colors, the cool textures and shapes that magically appear. In all of my art I try for and am attracted to colors that are bright and optimistic. After experimenting with different mediums I have found that I enjoy the more fluid ones like watercolor and alcohol ink. Both of these mediums allow me to utilize the spontaneous things that happen as you lay down the watercolors or inks. With a little help from me happy accidents became beautiful pieces of art.
My art is more representative of the natural world. I like trees, flowers, water, clouds and the reflections or shadows that can make them so interesting and beautiful. Color, texture, space and shape come into play with nature. I create because it is there inside of me. I see paintings in my dreams, my thoughts and everything I observe as I move through my life. I want to inspire and give people the opportunity to see life around them in a different way and to appreciate the beauty and color.
